What Kind of Chicken is Best for Chinese Honey Garlic Chicken
This recipe works best with chicken thighs as the dark meat has more flavor and less likely to dry out. Chicken breasts can also be used but make sure to reduce the cooking time accordingly depending on the size.
For this stir-fry recipe, you will need to cut your chicken into similar size small cubes so that they can be sauteed quickly and evenly.
Honey Garlic Chicken Marinade
Place your diced chicken cubes in the honey garlic sauce and let them marinate for 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. It will make your chicken super tender and flavorful. If you are short of time, even a 15 minute will make a big difference.
